02/11/2009 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The hapless Sacramento Kings will finish a two-day trek through Texas on Wednesday when they face off with the Houston Rockers at the Toyota Center.
The Kings fell in Dallas on Tuesday when Josh Howard and Antoine Wright scored 23 points apiece to lead the Mavericks to a 118-100 victory over Sacramento. The Mavs have won 10 straight over the Kings in north Texas.
Sacramento was paced by Kevin Martin, who ended with 18 points in the game. John Salmons had 16 points and five assists for the Kings, who have lost four straight games, are a miserable 3-25 on the road and a league-worst 11-42 overall.
Shelden Williams ended with 15 points in the loss, while Bobby Jackson had 12 points. Francisco Garcia and Beno Udrih finished with 11 points each.
The Kings continue to toil without center Brad Miller, who is out with a strained left hip flexor. Meanwhile, forward Mikki Moore returned to Sacramento for personal reasons after attending the team's shootaround Tuesday morning. Although the Kings wouldn't confirm anything, Moore is expecting a baby soon and may have left to attend to his pregnant fiancee.
The Rockets, who are opening a six-game homestand tonight, fell in Milwaukee on Monday when Ramon Sessions led a balanced scoring attack with 26 points to go with seven assists, leading the Bucks to a 124-112 victory over Houston, snapping Milwaukee's eight-game losing streak against the Rockets.
Aaron Brooks had 23 points, while Luis Scola and Ron Artest each logged 20 points for Houston, which had won three of four prior to its test in Brew City.
Yao Ming grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds but was held to seven points. Tracy McGrady was also shut down with a mere three points on 1-of-9 shooting.
After the All-Star break, the Rockets will finish their residency with bouts against New Jersey, Dallas, Charlotte, Portland and Cleveland.
Houston, which is a solid 18-6 at home, has won three of its past four meetings with the Kings, including a 107-96 win in Houston on December 19.

MySportsbook.com Posts Heisman Trophy Odds
With 3,919 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and a mere seven interceptions last season, combined with a powerful South Bend Heisman legacy, odds makers at MySportsbook.com have given Notre Dame senior quarterback Brady Quinn the best Heisman Trophy odds at 5-2.
Quinn isn’t the only big man on campus this season. Oklahoma junior running back and 2004 Heisman runner-up Adrian Peterson, listed at 7-2, rushed for a combined 3,033 yards in his first two years as a college player and will give Quinn a run for his money.
This online sportsbook has also listed Troy Smith, Ohio State senior quarterback, as another strong favorite to win the 72nd Heisman Trophy. A 7-1 bet, Smith threw for 2,282 yards last season and also led the Buckeyes to a convincing 34-20 victory over Quinn and the Fighting Irish in last season’s Fiesta Bowl.
Current betting odds Heisman trophy are:

Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament odds
As of February 9, MySportsbook.com has released its coveted 2007 Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament betting odds. “March Madness betting ” only a month away, the top ranked Florida Gators are favorite at 7-2 to win it all. The defending champs have not disappointed at all this season and currently have a 22-2 record and are undefeated (9-0) in SEC play. The Gators’ thrive off of their extremely balanced, experienced and versatile attack. All five starters started in last seasons National Championship game. What is most impressive with this group is their balance; the five starters all average between 10.7 and 13.6 PPG. The Gators have been on an absolute roll having won 15 straight by an average of 16.4 PPG.
Right behind the Gators are the 5th ranked UNC Tar Heels at 9-2. The Heels (21-3, 7-2) are absolutely loaded with top notch talent and are as deep as any team in the country. A concern for the Tar Heels might be inexperience. Of their top four scorers/ minute earners, three are freshmen and the other is a sophomore. The rest of the regular season, the Tar Heels play only one team that is currently ranked (Duke). Their remaining opponents do combine for an impressive 107-58 record though.
Other teams that the MySportsbook.com members seem to believe will win it all include the west coasts’ top team #2 UCLA (6-1), #3 OSU behind man-child Greg Oden (8-1), and #4 Wisconsin (10-1) behind their defense which has given up 70+ points only three times all season.
Below is a list of some of the favorites to win the 2007 Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship lines. For the full list of teams and March Madness odds be sure to log onto MySportsbook.com.
